City of Bellemeade

I am considering purchasing a property in Bellemeade.    If I made the purchase, I would want build a detached two car garage in the rear of the property.

What are the homeowner's association rules with regards to this type of project?

There are no homeowners associations in Bellemeade.

Bellemeade is a Kentucky 6th class city.

Zowning and building permits are dealt with by Louisville Metro.

Oh, sorry about that.   I did not realize the structure of government.

So, as long as I would meet the Louisville Planning Commissions zoning /offset/easement rules, I do not need approval of the plans from Bellemeade Ciity Government.  Correct?
