Is it better to spend money on beautification or safety of the neighborhood. To me safety always comes first.

Yes Sir, you are right!  But, you don't know how much is allocated for each of those, if any, in the proposed 2011-12 budget, do you?  Why not, you ask?  Because the proposed budget has not been made available to us.  Right!  Despite the fact that several of us have been asking for over a month, we still have not seen it and it gets voted on in a few days. 

How can you find out?  Go to a meeting, they say.  I think it is a power thing.  "They" want us to come and watch them perform.

I saw $2500.00 for beautification. Why?

There is $3300.00 for salaries, but not broken down as to who gets it and how much each. 

As general as this proposed budget is, I certainly do not understand why it took so long to get it posted.  Actually, I do understand.

just think, if we didnt have a beautification committee, maybe we could have our own officer patroning the area
