Reba, you are 100% correct which is EXACTLY my point!!! 

Mayor Larry appointed people to the committee that Bob is chairing.  Some of them are also on the Beautification Committee.  I have nothing personal against any of the people on the Beautification. But I do question the high priced services they contracted for before the City Commission re-assumed that role.

NOW YOU FOLLOW ME CLOSELY REBA:  MY POINT WAS WHY DID HE APPOINT THEM TO THIS COMMITTEE (FOLLOW ME CLOSELY NOW) WHEN THERE ARE OTHER CITIZENS WHO ARE JUST AS,IF NOT MORE, CAPABLE INCLUDING YOU AND WHO DON'T ALREADY HAVE A ROLE IN SPENDING BELLEMEADE MONEY WHO WOULD LIKE TO SERVE ON THE COMMITTEE?  I THINK THIS COMMITTEE WOULD BE BETTER SERVED IF IT WERE STAFFED WITH PEOPLE WITH A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE.

I would like two more volunteers from the west side of our city for this Idea Committee.

OKAY Ms Kitty ~ If I'm correct they asked for VOLUNTEERS at the meeting, and it is still open for more citizens to serve.  SO if YOU would like to SERVE  I suggest you contact the Mayor, and let him know.    He didn't appoint anyone specific, just asked for volunteers......and these FOUR citizens chose to do so.  

 SO again, if you have a different perspective, then you can serve also, and your suggestions will be taken into consideration.  

This specific topic was for suggestions, not to dig up old/other issues.

 Reba, you have wandered into the deep end now so I hope you got your BIG GIRL panties on.   Are you volunteering or just running your mouth?  My Dear, you are a fine one to call anybody out for making critical remarks since your very first few posts and the majority of them thereafter were and have been highly critical of Mayor Odom-Groh even to the extent  of questioning his religion AND CALLING HIM ARROGANT. 

If you want to reply to this, fine.  Just know that until you can get your facts straight and read and comprehend what I posted about, I am going to leave you to your own folly of talking out of both sides of your mouth.  As for me, I will move on to a more stringent challenge.  Why don't you go out and deal with your pesky critters.  Choi.
