July 11?  Impossible; totally impossible unless you jumped the gun and chose to make and present the choices to the Counciman on your own!  Both the Mayor's August Message and the minutes of the August 8, 2011 Commission Meeting posted on this site state that Bob Elliott presented the recommendations at the August 8, 2011 meeting, not the July meeting.  The July minutes only state that Bob reported that suggestions were coming in. He did mention two or three that had been suggested.  The committee did not meet until Tuesday, August 2, 2011 and did not make any recommendations until Monday, August 8, 2011. 

You are correct it was after the Auguts meeting. My appoligies I looked at the wrong meeting date.
