City of Bellemeade

As I do not know when you tried to email the commissioners I can not answer for them.

. I will not remove their contact numbers and addresses but it is up to them to respond.

He owes you and a lot of other people an apology.

He still hasn't answered my questions about the sidewalks along Shelbyville Rd and rather the "Residents" have been contacted about their opinion, and liability and maintance requirements of this sidewalk!

The homeowners on Shelbyville Rd will be responsible for clearing the walk of ice, snow, etc; and if someone gets hurt they are AT RISK of being sued.  Mr Mayor has OK'd the walks, but have the residents been informed????  I don't believe that they have. 

Mr Mayor still won't answer that question.

Reba, since you have school age children and are involved in their activities which makes it hard for you to attend their meetings , why don't you write a formal letter to the "mayor" and the commissioners about your concerns and ask that the letter be put on the agenda and discussed at the next meeting. 

I haven't been here long and I see that more people need to get involved and find out what is going on.  My neighbor says we have one very excellent commissioner, one decent one, one so-so one and one that has been there too long, and an arrogant self-serving mayor with a terribly bad memory and a long history of unfinished projects. I also find it astonishing that four out of five of them are not from the Bellemeade part of Bellemeade.  They are from the Moorgate part.  How did that happen?

There seems to be some controversy about the posts on this site.  There is always controversy when there are differences of opinion.  It is hard to call ineptitude anything other than ineptitude.  I think I see why more people do not speak up - "mayor" does not hear them unless they are agreeing with him.  That is so disappointing.

I am off today. so I think I am going to get some exercise, walk around the neighborhood, and maybe even check out this "mayor" we have.
