City of Bellemeade

Sad...

Mayor Odom-Groh, you jump in and make a "one-sentence comment" amd ignore a dozen legitimate questions???

As I read all of this, I am sad that there is such a controversy.  It appears that there is no real thought put into a lot of what our Bellemeade city government does. I read post after post of citizens voicing what appear to be legitimate concerns, and I read inadequate one liners or contradictory detailed comments from the mayor.  Somebody needs to get their stories straight ...

Mayor, are the sidewalks in Bellemeade or not?  Mr. Odom-Groh, are you the mayor of Bellemeade or not?  Have you spoken to any of the residents that will be affected or not?  Has anyone connected to Bellemeade city government addressed the liability issue?

Surely you don'texpect an honest legitimate answer from HRH, do you?

The sidewalks are in Metro as well as in Bellemeade. The issue has been thourghly discussed in the city commission over the past two years including the liability issue. Metro is installing sidewalks all over the city. Councilman Ackerson has a plan to install them from Hurstbourne to I-264. Metro has control over the US 60 right of way and can do this with or with out our consent. Metro is responsible for contacting those property owners affected.
