Rebuilding Together and Belmont CDC Come Together to Rehab Homes

This partnership has created a major positive impact in Belmont. On April 24, 2004 a rehab blitz day was held and resulted in the investment of over $90,000 to 18 owner-occupied properties in Belmont and the CDC office. The rehab work is completed by volunteers and is free to home owners. Through this collaboration Rebuilding Together and Belmont CDC will hold an April 2005 rehab day as well, which will invest an additional $100,000 to low-income homes in Belmont next year. The collaboration with Rebuilding Toghether has connected the Belmont CDC with other companies that will result in direct partnerships with those companies in the future.
