Please post if you have had Bill and Holly Ridgeway as landlords. I started renting an apartment from them a year ago and since then I have had some problems with them. My shower has only worked sporatically, and actually scalding me with hot water on a reguar basis. And sometimes no water comes out of my shower head at all!! This buliding was built in 1921 and has clogged steel gavanized pipe. For some reason the Ridgeways don't think its important for thier tenants to be able to shower. I have requested that they fix it with no response from them that they would even consider fixing it. I called one day and talked to Mrs Ridgeway and her suggestion was that I move out. So now the heatlh department is involved and hopefully will make them fix it. One more thing did you know that that ants are not considered a health hazard? Big ant hills under my above ground apartment that the Ridgeways won't do anything about either. Guess I have to just live with that :(( gee thanks bill and holly.

The Long Beach Health Department has stepped in and fixed the problem. They forced my landord to put in a new copper water line was installed from the water main on the street. Thank you Karen at Long Beach Health Department.
