We think Butterfield would be an excellent site for the post office and we think the neighborhood association should support the idea. If you think otherwise please let us know!!!

Butterfield is the best option for a Post Office facility our community deserves.  There is simply no more room at Foodtown and any further development would compromise safety and violate zoning code.

The village and the Butterfiled developer should aggressively pursue developing that property in stages - start with the non controversial pieces where there is broad agreement - county  services, community services, post office.  This gets the ball rolling.  Then take more time to thoughtfully consider how to adapt the controversial proposals (apartment building, senior housing) as part of a fture phase and in a way that is acceptable to the residents of that area.
