All those Community Development Grants have put a strain on
our engineering department. Richard Sillian left for a
position in Denver, and we will miss him. Kevin Curry and
Suping Liu are still working to improve our neighborhoods.
The Lowell Bridge at Clear Creek will be completed before
other projects are started.

Second on the agenda is the closure of 53rd Avenue at
Federal and a pedestrian walk to Federal Blvd. Next is the
storm sewer on West 54th and Julian that will take storm
drainage to a detention pond near Clear Creek and then the
completion of the sidewalks on West 54th Avenue. Then
Tennyson will have a sidewalk on the west side from West
52nd Avenue to Berkeley Village.
