IBEW 5660 Logan, October 15, 6pm

Could you donate something for the Silent Auction? Items
that sit in the closet, gifts you never could use, can help
us raise money for mailing and signs to promote OPEN SPACE.
Jefferson, Douglas, Larimer, Boulder, Pitkin, Routt, and
Summit Counties all have an Open Space tax. Adams county
must start preservation. We need volunteers to help walk
precincts. Would you volunteer to put a sign in your yard?
Call 303-477-9669. Call your friends and tell them how
important the Open Space Issue (1A) is to the residents of
Adams County. Every one of us has seen a piece of property
that meant a lot to our communities sold for development
because there was no funding for Open Space purchases. We
lose a lot of Great Outdoors Colorado grants because we
can't come up with 25 percent of the needed purchase money.
The ballot issue asks for 1/5 cent tax. One penny on a $5
purchase NOT TAXED. Groceries, prescriptions, gasoline and
farm equipment. This small tax will bring in $5.5 million a
year to be used to purchase Open Space.
Please vote yes on Issue (1A). Ballots will be mailed
October 8 or 10.
