Zoning Inspectors will be looking out for violations!!!

Ok, I will be the first to admit it has been hot this summer; and it's perfect weather for weeds to grow. Those nasty little weeds have been taking advantage of our alley's and parking curbs. So lets fight back take a few minutes in the cool of the evening and pull a few weeds.

This month for the garden corner, I would like to draw attention to the small trees that spring up around foundations of homes and garages. It is important to remove them as soon as possible to avoid costly tree removal and damage to your home. When planting any new shrubs or trees give plenty of room for growth. When you plant a tree make sure you get the most shade form the sun when it is full grown. By S.R.

Would any garden group like to take over the planting and maintenance of the flower beds at 52nd and Tennyson???

These are the beds that surround the corner of Case Golf Course. We could set a sign giving recognition of your group or club. I don't think there is a better place to showcase plantings and beautiful flowers.
