Recently, following some kind of unfortunate criminal activity, the main school playground which is also our only dictrict park has been closed off earlier than the normal curfew hours. This happened without notification to the neighborhood association or local neighborhood watch organizations. What are your suggestions for handling this kind of situation?

As this is the only open space in ''upper Leconte'' we need access to this ''park'' during daylight hours, especially on weekends. Near-by neighbors may have to pay more attention to dog problems and other activities that could cause the park to be ''off limits''.
