A man is going door to door at approx. 10:00 pm asking for money to help him with a family emergency. He says he lives on Roosevelt and Schaf and is a neighbor. Several of us on Berwick Blvd between Severn and Kenwick had our doors knocked on late last night. The man claimed several of my neighbors had already given him money and he only needed $20.00 more from us. We told him no through the window and we did not open our door. We have lived in Berwick for over 16 years and have never had this happen before. I think others especially those who live alone should not answer their doors at night.
