Does anyone know where nickel cadmium batteries can be taken for recycling?

Mary, you may want to call SA Solid Waste Hotline @ 520-9633 and if you don't get the answer there call SA Solid Waste directly @ 522-8831 and they should tell you how to dispose. I generally keep all of my hazzardous waste materials and the city has a once a year type of drop off center.
