The Elephant!

One of the highlights of the circus is the elephant. The children truly enjoyed watching Tommy Liebel lead the 'baby elephant' through it's tricks with Tommy's young daughter riding high atop this gentle creature. Along with the excitement of the elephant, Tommy Liebel brings along with him a little monkey, full of funny antics, who 'steals' popcorn from the children while riding on his owners arm as they walk around the arena. This is truly a 'family' circus, with highwire artists and floor shows directed to the
interests of members of the family. The
ringmaster and owner of the circus, Tommy Liebel himself, portrays a 'one-man' band, an artistic act which brought him to the eventual creation of his own circus. Tommy's act was a star attraction of the Barnum and Baily circus for many years. This group performs three shows the day of the Kid's Karnival and many of the children manage to catch all three shows!
