In case you were not in the 300-500' radius of the billboard property at 849 NW 41 St, and did not receive a notification letter, the meeting date has been set for concerned residents to meet with CBS Outdoor regarding their proposal for billboards within the City of Oakland Park.  

The meeting will be Monday, May 3, 2010 at 6:30pm, at Jaco Pastoius Community Center. We expect other neighborhood groups to participate and bring their recommendations to the meeting as well.  I think we can all agree that billboards anywhere in the City are an eyesore and we can work together to get them reduced, which will benefit everyone.
