Larceny from Auto and Burglary

Recently several neighborhoods experienced a pattern of vehicle and house break ins. Early last week several neighborhoods in the Colony and Carmel Road area were the victim of multiple thefts. In every case the thieves targeted only unlocked vehicles and garages.

As summer ends please help us in preventing you from becoming a victim. Keep these tips in mind and always call 911 if you see suspicious activity or persons in your neighborhood.

Keep your garage doors closed, even if you are home. Several garages were entered when homeowners left the garage door partially open for pets.
Keep side garage doors locked.
Keep the door from your garage into your house locked.
Do not leave your car keys and other valuables inside your vehicle, even if it's parked inside the garage.
