I've lived in Blendon Woods for over 20 years and I've seen so many cats and dogs that have been abandoned. Last fall, I took in a calico cat that was in the neighborhood for a couple of months and no one would help. I tried to find her owner with no success. Most people didn't even want to discuss helping this poor animal so I took her in. In the past 3 months, there have been 2 more cats roaming around the neighborhood and unfortunately I saw signs that the fox that stays in the ravine killed them. Last night a dog came to my door. I tried to help it but my dog started barking and the dog ran away. Please people be responsible and spay/neuter your pets and don't get puppies or kittens unless you are going to keep them until they die a natural death. Be humane, please!
