BONNIE BRAE ?“TRAFFIC COPS?”

Some of you have seen flyers regarding ?“Operation Speedwatch?”. Concerned citizens can participate in a program sponsored by the Denver Police, where cars are monitored for reasonable speed along our neighborhood streets (Bonnie Brae, Steele, Mississippi and Exposition).

?“Offending?” vehicle owners, caught by radar (we operate the radar gun), will be sent a ?“friendly notice?” from the Denver Police that their vehicle was clocked doing well above the speed limit.

The goal here is to do what we can to slow people down as they drive through our neighborhood, making Bonnie a safer place for our children, and helping preserve the quality of life we know and love. We all know and can visibly see the significant increase in traffic flow, noise and air pollution. And we all witness people who speed down the ?“Bonnie Brae Speedway?” at speeds well exceeding the 25 mph speed limit.
