How To Be A Good Neighbor

Be Welcoming

Make friends with your neighbors. When new neighbors move in, invite them over or bring them a dish. Keep an eye on their house when they are on vacation.

Be Conscientious

Keep your house well-maintained. Scrape off and repaint old chipping paint. Replace broken windows. Keep your lawn mowed and tidy. Keep your weeds under control so they don't get out of hand and extend into your neighbors' yard.

Be Considerate

Be sure to take a plastic baggie when walking your dog so you can pick up after it. Never litter outside. Don't blow your mowed grasses or leaves into the street or your neighbor's yard. Don't crank the music too loud in your house, especially late at night.
