I've just read the qualifications and response to questions for City's East-West Mobility Study. Constitution is #1 choice for E-W it appears! The 4 companies selected are all qualified to perform the study and design to the City's requirements. My fear is the City's requirements are not helpful to moving traffic well E to W. US24 goes to Wash. D.C. and Buena Vista. Platte comes too close to El Paso Club. Yampa turns into Cache La Poudre into Galley into Peterson Rd. Uintah (bridge and all) turns into Palmer Park Blvd after "one lane" into barricade before Marksheffel. Constitution begins at Paseo and "stops" at Academy. Fillmore begins at I25 and ends at Circle. G of G ends at 31st and ends at Nevada. Woodman begins on the mountain and ends at US24.
Meanwhile, try breathing the air on a calm fall or winter day!
Traffic planning you say? Where, I say!
