maybe the job was suited just for him.
it sounds like mcmahon has some explaining to do.but to who? does anyone on the board even know who if toma or any of the other candidates are
qualified or not?this is the problem.
they are willing to vouch for an unlicensed on the job training candidate and there were no questions from the board?not to long ago they were concerned about litigation with the colonial tree contract bidding
and now unqualified friends of the town are hired? oh boy! good job guys.
do us all a favor the next time you want to interview candidates for a salaried employee-do it at town meeting.they actually might make an informed conscientious decision based upon qualifications instead of town standing.some people have no shame.

Tom Didn't Leave Beld

Leave BELD? Tom Reynolds is chairman of the Board of Light Commissioners at BELD, the same group who have done zilch over the preposteous BONUS SCAM upon us ratepayers for it's managers.
Tom recently announced he is a candidate for reelection to BELD board? The ''benefits are too good'' and ''I have projects underway I want to see completed''.
Our DPW Director not only hired unqualified, untrained and inexperienced Reynolds, but he previously hired Director Whalen who was unqualified for that job. Hmm, Whalen's son is supervisor under him, now will be under Tom. Hear other wate and sewer rank and file workers are really upset about his latest hiring - really upset!
