Sadam was mandated here by the UN to abide by the resolution. Comply. If he actually had no WMD, what possible justification did he have to ignore the resolution...and blatantly refuse to account for the missing materials? You need to see the entire picture. You forget about the Polish soldiers find of materials. You forget about the tons of material the UN is pissed at the US for removing from the Tawatha Nuke site. You forget about the IAEA's own report showing satelite photos of truck convoys leading into syria prior to the war. You are slectively focussed here....because you are politically biased. If not....please explain to me why Blix, Kay , el baridei and many others are on record saying Sadam actively denied accounting for the materials. If he had none...why not avoid a battle over them? Hell, qadaffi was intimidated to the point he disarmed without one shot fired.

Investigations into the Food for Oil Scandal will show, I am sure, that france, germany and russia not only sold sadam the materials he wanted...but helped remove it before the war began. These are the same countries who signed 1441. With friends like that........
