I hope Bill O'Neil runs again for School Committee. There are a potential 3 seats open with two incumbents possibly seeking re-election. We need a Bill O'Neil, aka frankreport, to get elected to the runaway budget train on the school committee in my judgment. He'll ask the tough questions, caste the tough votes and not go along to get along in his seat. He may have some eccentricities, but he isn't a butt kisser to anyone.
I'd like to see Dan Clifford throw his hat into the Assessor's race again. He's tried before, but this time he has a great chance of getting elected. He's well versed in assessing and despite his egocentricities at times, I'd throw may vote his way just to shake up that board and Dan can shake it!
I want to see Donna O'Sullivan run for Selectwoman against McAuliffe and Egan. Tim has been there, but hasn't succeeded in changing the cluttered status quo on that board. McAuliffe is posing for the camera and giving away the store and cow towing to Braintree's biggest developer. She's a slam dunk to unseat one of these worthless incumbents in my judgment.
If not Donna O'Sullivan, I hope Bill Grove takes a swing at the Selectmen's race and runs himself. Where's Joe Powers when we need him?
Let's give these potential candidates a phone call or post some encouragement. They can make a difference.

In my humble opinion

Its your turn to step up to the plate. Never mind others, make a run for it, you should get plenty of support if you are able to articulate your platform and swing the voters in your direction.

Make a very simple case for better town government, keep it positive, don't commit to what you cannot deliver. Win, lose or draw have at it.

Nice Post

I doubt that Donna O'Sullivan would ever run for Selectman, but she'd be great at it. Egan has done a good job since being elected and deserves to remain on the board if he decides to run. I think it's unreasonable to place the responsibility of changing the status quo on him, particularly with the crew that he's dealing with this year. All I ask of him and any elected official is to vote for what's best for the town and Tim has done that.

McAuliffe is doing exactly what you say and I don't understand why he keeps getting elected.

If Bill O'Neill runs for school committee again, he's a sure winner. I don't know anybody who's going to vote for the incumbents.
Who will step up to the plate?

Probably not those who willing post anon on this site harshly judging and bashing the incumbents.

I don't like all our elected officials but I give all of them credit for having the balls to run. How easy it is to sit at your computer and bash.
