NOT safer under the Liar

Oh yeah we were a lot safer or have you forgotten the FIRST Twin Towers bombing We will hunt you down, The bombing of the Embassy's, we will hunt you down, the bombing of the USS Cole, we will hunt you down, are you kidding. President George Bush said he would hunt them down AND HE DID. Were we safer under the person who sat in front of the American people and swore that he never had sex with that women. A proven liar No, whoever you are, we were not safer being led by a liar and a cheat as commander in chief. Further more I get so sick and tired of John Kerry saying he is the peoples candidate. How many regular people do you know who own 6 or 8 mansions and vacation at the ''Vineyard''. How can this man be ''In touch'' with the regular people. He doesn't even know where we live. Does he have to worry about his health insurance? I doubt it. He is NOT in touch with me and I consider myself a regular person. Some might not but I do.

Lead over Kerry grows to 17 points

While national polls on the race for the White House have tightened and some show a dead heat, Kentuckians haven't changed their minds much over the last month.

They still prefer President Bush to Sen. John Kerry and by about the same amount ?— a 17-point margin, according to The Courier-Journal's Bluegrass Poll conducted Monday through Wednesday.

The poll shows that, unlike in some other parts of the nation, the three presidential debates and one vice-presidential debate did little to change political preferences in Kentucky.

Of those surveyed, 88 percent said they saw or heard at least portions of the four debates, but 82 percent of respondents said the debates did not affect their vote.

The latest poll showed that among likely voters, Republican Bush is the choice of 56 percent of Kentuckians, compared with 39 percent for Democrat Kerry and 1 percent for independent candidate Ralph Nader. Four percent were undecided.
