First let me say I am sorry

that your nephew was killed in Iraq.

Our military is now all volunteer. My son joined the army and was soon sent home because of a health issue, but when he joined part of the agreement stated the he might be sent to war and killed.

I am sure that your nephew signed the same agreement and was aware that he could be killed.

More people are killed on our highways every day than are killed in Iraq. This war has the lowest mortality rate of any war fought. Thousands died in Viet Nam, hundreds of thousands died in World War II, WWI, the Civil War and the Revolutionary War and all the other wars in between.

These young people and especially every one who has signed up since 911 is aware that they could be killed. We should reward their sacrifice by keeping our nation safe.

I am sorry for your pain and grateful for your family's sacrifice.

I think what anon was trying to say is that people who have committed a crime and are sentenced to death chose their path. Victims of abortion are innocent. I do not believe in capital punishment, but I do believe we can change the law and make abortion illegal. I think people will see a chance of that happening if a vacancy in the Supreme Court happens.

In the five days before the election, despite the Kerry campaign?’s best efforts to suppress it, ''Stolen Honor'' was shown 31 times in Ohio alone. If any one group denied John Kerry this election, it was these guys. These old soldiers refused to just fade away.

Balding, gimpy and with growing waistlines, they reported for duty for the last big fight of their lives.

And they won it.
