Yes

Many years ago when we adopted our sons, I used to go to meetings of the Open Door Society. We took turns hosting the evenings in our homes.

http://odsacone.org/ is their web site. That particular site listed Holliston, but I am sure you can find other branches closer to Braintree.

They are a great bunch for support and even for pre-adoption. They can give you more information about adoption in one meeting than you will get in a year talking to agencies.

I encourage you to find a chapter and go to a meeting. I went for years!
