I agree completely with John Carlson aka goodneighborsam. But John, I believe your posts would be much more effective if you revealed yourself. We enjoy reading your Forum columns and your dignit and wit is sorely needed here. Come on out John, we need you.

No, that's not John. John is a self-centered, power hunger, depressed individual. All he does is bitch about all the town departments. Every time I read his column in the paper, somehow the name Prozac come to mind.

General John is Tops
Brig.Gen. John Carlson is a homemade Horatio in my eyes. No person tells it better ''like it is'' than The General with his deft quill. Sure, firefighters might complain, BELD commishs might complain, school administrators might complain, parks comishs might complain and so forth, but if you can't take the heat, get lost!
I only wish General John would throw his hat into the ring and run for Selectman. Then the marshmallow idiots would start with structure at their sessions and attend to business. The General would be the first to SAY NO to FX and send the check back. The General would pull a pistol if FX ever showed up with plans for a Braintree HOOTERS proposal. Better yet, The General reveres FX as such he wanted him to be the town's first Maya, but that doesn't mean that he'd allow FX to run roughshod ever more. Go General and hell with stupid Anonymous cowards!

Tell Me
After the Common is beautified, who will be responsible for maintaining it? I don't see much beautification (where is the beautifcation committee?) The residents and businesses are suposed to be tending to their little piece of Braintree. Some are doing a great job, some adequate, and some just don't care. They put their business sign on their ''spot'' and there is sits.
