?• 1999 ?— After Pedro Martinez pitched a three-hitter to cut New York's lead to 2-1 in the AL championship series, the Yankees dominated Games 4 and 5 to win the series.

?• 2003 ?— The Red Sox had a 5-2 lead in Game 7 of the AL championship series. But New York tied it against Martinez in the eighth, and Aaron Boone's home run in the 11th won it for the Yankees.
