Bush wins decisively on points

IT SAYS HERE that Bush wins decisively on points: 13 to 5. To be honest, I was surprised by this tally since the debate felt pretty even while it was in progress. Watching the return of the president's smirk, I would never have guessed that this last debate was rout. So what happened? Bush did a good job of coming back to Kerry's record, and, in what may be the biggest development of the last couple weeks, he finally put the senator's vote against Desert Storm on the table. And, three weeks later, the only thing anyone remembers from the first debate is Kerry's ''global test.''

And for the first time, John Kerry did nothing to help himself. While he didn't have any large-scale mistakes, Kerry didn't do anything positive. He played defense all night. What's worse, anyone who watched all three debates couldn't help but notice massive inconsistencies in many of Kerry's answers, particularly on abortion, Supreme Court justices, and that global test. Finally, don't be surprised if the decision to bring up Dick Cheney's daughter (again) comes back to haunt Kerry.

The Dems can ''slap a tax on any bill''.

The Republicans need to learn to tax all the compaines that oursource manufacturing, technology and personal service (like AOL). Every job that is sent overseas because it is cheaper to pay non-USA citizens to do it, should be taxed so that it is no longer profitable. That will bring the jobs back pronto. Also customers should refuse to talk to non-USA support personnel.

I refuse to deal with off shore telephone personnel. Tech support may be great, but the difference in English as a second language and English as the language you think in is miles appart.

Not Such A Bad Idea

If you or I worked in a foreign country we would have to pay American
income taxes on earned income even when in a foreign country, why shouldn't and American company?

It is an interesting question and needs to be followed up on! What?’s good for the goose and so on!

If the needs of an American company for relief of high salary burdens is allowed the tax restrictions on earned income and gambling gains should be eliminated!

If You went to Europe and gambled on the English Derby and won the IRS would be after you for taxes, even in a foreign country the IRS wants taxes, If American citizens why not American companies?

I believe the federal tax deductions for salaries of foreign workers is also in effect, why should this be allowed!

Can some one tell me why

Kerry supports an altnerative energy program. Could someone out there (preferably a Democrat) tell me if windmills fall into that category. Now if they do (and I am sure they do) could you now tell me why Mr.Kerry voted against windmills on Nantucket. Could it be he is more interested in pleasing his friends or perhaps it's that he is against the obstructed view program.
