My question
When you called the Braintree Police to report this public safety issue, what was there response to you? Did they send a cruiser to ticket or tow illegally parked cars or did they disregard your complaint? I'm interested. I'm sure you did the responsible thing and reported this. It would be kind of cheap to notice a problem, do nothing to contribute to correcting the situation as it is unfolding and then post anonymously that the situation occured at all. It is our town & we all share a responsibility here. We all have cell phones, this seems like an easy fix to me.

Instead of calling the police he would rather, like you said go bitch about it on a web site. They always throw in their children too, you know to make it sound more dangerous and make the cops look bad.Does he feel the same safety concerns when he drops his daughter off at the mall and there are cars parked in the firelanes?

My response
I called the police twice to report cars that were parked on the sidewalks on Washington,Franklin etc because they force me out onto the road, which was unsafe. I have gotten mixed responses, one time they sent a cruiser out and issued tickets. the other time I received a ''what would you like us to do?'' type of response. When I suggested that they should enforce the parking regulations, I was told that they didn't have enough officers to do that kind of work. I have given up trying to get them to do their jobs.
