Town of Braintree

Well it's another day in the life of the oh so arrogant Dan Quirk. The large trucks hauling the thirty thousand odd tons of scrap steel from the ship yard are thundering through the streets of Braintree.

Whats that you say? Mr. Quirk and his High paid mouthpieces agreed not to truck the steel over our roads and through our neighborhoods and would only ship it out by barge.

18 wheel dump trucks hauling fill to the former ship yard (thats one every 4 minutes 6 days a week for as long as Quirk wants)soon to be the MARCH FOURTH AUTOMOBILE IMPORTING TERMINAL

Once the dry docks are filled in and the ships start offloading cars to the tune of 3000 to 5000 per ship 10-11 cars per car carrier truck they will be comming to your neighborhood too.

Wait didn't Quirk say he would be bringing in machine parts and lumber and machinery? Oh well thats different those container ships carry any where from 3000 to as many as 6000 containers one container per truck, well you see where this is going.

To all those that think Quirk is doing us a favor have some more of the Quirk KOOL-ADE and enjoy them apples.

A good nights sheep.

What do you expect from the sheep in this town who let their elected officials pander to their special interest buddies. There is a lot of corruption and favoritism with the good old boy network at town hall. There is a big MESS INA town called Braintree with its many political QUIRKS. When are the people in this MESSINA town called Braintree going to take back the town from the special interests. You hire the right lawyer in this town, and we all know who he is and you can get anything done. What a shame, what a scam. Why do the residents of Braintree put up with this BS? Are you Sheep, or are you responsible adults who care about the town or will you continue to turn the other cheek, bury your head in the sand and let the special interests run rough shod over this town. The trucks are coming, the developments are coming, wake up Braintree the sheep you see jumping over your bed at night are not an illusion they are you and your neighbors who just don't give a damn. Shame on you if you do not rise up and be heard, hopefully it wont be Baa,baa, baa.

Leave town if you don't like it

as I will do shortly, as soon as my youngest graduates from high school. Braintree has become a community I do not like and there's no changing it. The old expression ''you can't fight city hall'' is true, especially if ''city h all'' isn't responsive or helpful to it's taxpaying constitutents. Time to go!!!

Sadly

this is what is happening. This is not a town. We are enablers. Enabling the likes of Messina and Quirk to give ''Select People'' a gift for a gift. As I watched the Master Plan to beautify Town Hall last evening it occurred to me that Messina and Quirk are destroying so much of Braintree as they march along that they should pay to Beautify Town Hall. Most of their friends utilize it. Such good neighbors. Do either one of them live in Braintree. Just wondering.
