More Cops, Safer Town?

You comment that Chief Frazier has extolled the citizens of Braintree that he can no longer assure the safety of the public in this town because of short staffing. I ask the question - if we gave him 6 more cops, COULD HE GUARANTEE THE SAFETY OF THE PUBLIC IN BRAINTREE? Begs a Yes or No answer, not a whimsical but, but, but answer. Of course he couldn't would be his answer. Crime runs in cycles, but to hear the chief say on television that he's instructed his men and women to use discretion in making arrests because we don't have the time to prosecute? I say cop out! If an offense is arrestible, then damm it, our men and women in blue better be cuffing the perps period!

How much Police resource does the Plaza take from the Police Department ?

Seems we get to pay for more police but the extra force won't benefit you at all.

It all goes to big Braintree business.
The industrial parks, construction sites, the Plaza..the list goes on.

You, Mr Homeowner trying to eke out a living will receive NO benefit from the extra police staffing.
