Brazos Landing Pool Rules

Pool Rules

The following rules will be published to all residents and posted at the entrance to the pool.

1. SWIMMING IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

2. THIS FACILITY IS FOR THE EXCLUSIVE USE OF THE PROPERTY OWNERS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. POOL TAGS FOR THE CURRENT YEAR ARE REQUIRED TO USE THE POOL.

3. ALL TRESPASSERS WILL BE PROSECUTED.

4. PARENTS ARE RESPONSBILE FOR THE SUPERVISION OF THEIR CHILDREN AT ALL TIMES.

5. NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 12 IS PERMITTED IN THE POOL AREA WITHOUT THE SUPERVISION OF AN ADULT, EIGHTEEN YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER.

6. NO SWIMMING WITHOUT A GUARD ON DUTY.

7. Guests within the pool area must be accompanied at all times by a Member of the Community.

8. Regulation swim wear must be worn at all times. This is for your safety due to the suction opportunity of clothing and threads being caught in the drains.

9. NO glass containers are allowed in the pool area.

10. NO running or rough-housing allowed.

11. NO diving allowed in the pool.

12. NO pets allowed in pool area.

13. NO cutoff jeans - NO disposable baby diapers, infants must wear rubber pants at all times. This is to protect from sanitation issues and to avoid equipment filter problems.

14. NO loud music or abusive language will be tolerated.

15. NO skates, skate boards, or bikes in pool area.

16. Pool will be closed with the first sound of thunder until thirty (30) minutes after the last sound of thunder. Closure shall be the discretion of Guards on duty.

17. All swimmers must be cleared from the pool during the administration of serious first aid and during sessions as may be called by the Guard from time to time.

18. Failure to follow rules may result in immediate removal from the pool area and/or possible suspension from the pool for an extended period of time.

19. To report repairs or damages to the facility - please contact the Association's office at 713/870-0585.

Residents should report rules violators to the Board or PCMI if the Life Guards don't catch the infractions. The pool sign-in sheet can be used to identify the person(s) breaking the rules.
