The Audit committee, chaired by Cheryl Murphy conducted an audit of the BRHOA books on January 14, 2004. The Committee reported that their documentation questions were answered and they recommend that the Board accept the documentation as accurate. The Audit Committee?’s report was accepted.

Jack McGrath reported that one homeowner is 4 months delinquent in their dues. The Board will formally address the homeowner regarding payment.

The 2004 proposed budget was reviewed and discussed. Jack McGrath reported that the budget was patterned after the 2002 budget, since it was a more typical year than last year?’s water-restricted budget. The budget for postage was increased to $100 so that the Briar Patch newsletter can be mailed to those who don?’t want it by e-mail. With the recommended change the budget was approved.
