Hello Neighbor,

My name is Kyle Hess and I have been elected by your neighborhood association, the Fulton Neighborhood Association, as President for 2009. This association was formed in 1995, by several residents within this square mile. The key or center of this square being Fulton Elementary School, Thus the name Fulton Neighborhood Association. It is with great enthusiasm that you feel so strongly about our neighborhood. It is with much regret that the entry stones that you are so strongly against was voted on and spoke about for approx 1 year at the meetings that were held at aldersgate church. These stones should be no suprise and were not intended to suprise anyone with Fulton Neighborhood. They are just supplementing the small metal post signs that have been up for 5 years that I have lived in the FULTON NEIGHBORHOOD.

With this I would like to personally invite you to our next meeting, being held May 12, 2009 at 7 P.m. at Aldersgate church. With such strong feelings, I believe you would be a great asset to our community and association.

This association was done by Fulton, Briarwood did not need one.  You have no say so over Briarwood, read! Fulton screwed up their stuff, Briarwood people do not participate because we do not need to.  Unless we now need to.

For Your information and anyone else that lives in "Briarwood", The Fulton Neighborhood Association was started by people in "Briarwood" because the Park and Pool Board did not represent a true "Neighborhood" concept as envisioned by the City of Tulsa.  Therefore, these visionaries wanted to form an Association (legally Incorporated) that could truly speak for the area (31st Street to 41st Street and between Memorial Drive and Mingo Road).  Many projects have resulted because the Voice of a "True Neighborhood" requested it.  The major accomplishment was the renovation of Hicks Park Complex.  I must say that your angst astounds me as well as many others in the Fulton Neighborhood Association.  Are you an Owner who really doesn't care about their ability to control what happens to their community or is your motivation a result of something we don't understand?
