speed bumps

Posted in: Riverside Chase
i was just wondering why the hoa can't use our homeowners dues to put speed bumps in the neighborhood. Especially on the circle. I have cars that fly past my house. There are many times when my kids are on the side of the road on their bikes waiting for a car to pass and they doen't even slow down. Even when the police are called it doesn't seem to do any good.
Speed bumps around turns

Speed bumps around some of the turns in the subdivision sounds like a good idea to me. This would slow down those that don't care about the children in the neighborhood.

Speed bumps seem like a good ide

I agree with the anonymous message poster, that speed bumps seem like a good idea. They are annoying, yes, but I too have had the experience of cars going way too fast when my kids are in the front yard.
Yes to speed bumps

Speed bumps are completely annoying, however with children that play outside I think they are necessary. We have so much traffic and while some neighbors are careful, there are more that fly through like there's no tomorrow. We live in a family neighborhood, and we should all take the safety of our children seriously!
