Story

Yes, the truth as you would like to hear as usual. You believe what you want, I ran the website, I posted whatever the BOD asked to be posted or done to the home page. I also sent out numerous emails asking for help and ideas of things to post for the community. I got nothing back. I did not post anyones 411. I posted only my opinions as a homeowner in this community. I also posted the truth, and as usual they covered and lied for each other and just shut down the site. I was not the only resident asking what was happening to our community. Also, they did not even have the balls to ask me to stop doing the site. They had the HOA manager send me a generic letter on behalf of the BOD. I have also know Mark and Ruben for years. They have not changed and will not, they like the power trip. So you may believe what ever you want, I have emails backing up what I say. If you are the owner of said big ass shed, you need to talk to your buddy Ruben, he is the one who posted what size he approved.

FYI

I was at the annual meeting and I heard Mark say they were intersted in upgrading the website.

Wow I was at the meeting also. I did not hear that. I also like the way you say facts and non-involved. I know the facts, I was involved. You have the side of the story you have been told and what you want to hear. If you are anything like them, then I can see why you are defending them. Its their way or no way. So don't tell me what I did wrong, I posted my opinions as any resident can. Just as you have done now, so do you have any proof of all you posted. I do.
HOA

Yes, I have stated the HOA is doing good and yes I have stated that at times certain members have done some questionable things. I don't agree with shutting down a web site however for the simple reason that a few, including me, have expressed their concerns.
In response to everything....

You know what gets me? The fact that people on here who say they are active within the community and with the HOA feel the need to post in an anonymous form. I have spoken to people within the HOA, they have heard my opinion and I have not agreed with them all the time. But you know what, My name is Jess, if anyone would like to meet with me or contact me, I am more than happy to do it and my e-mail address is included. Mark, Ruben, Pedro, Jack have all heard me voice my opinion in one way or another. I did put my name on the ballot for the BOD, however, I did not know enough people to get voted in. Oh well! That doesn't mean that I have to stop speaking up for what I believe in.

You know what I find GREAT!! Two people from the HOA called me and spoke to me personally about issues within the community, good and bad. Whatever they told me stays between those people and I, however, one things stands out to me that I will convey to everyone. When you hold them accountable for anything, good or bad, they will respond to you. All in all, I think it was great that one thing happened: communication in a respectful manner. I heard them out and they heard me. No one sat there and degraded anyone or told them they were wrong. I commend them for stepping up and speaking to me.

I have spoken to the members of the BOD about more interaction within the community. I would like to see more things happening that bring us all together. The only way you are going to get rid of the negativity is to enhance the positivity.
