How Sad!!

And It Just Keeps Getting Worse

We ALL need to call this type of behavior in. Decent Salem Woods residents should not have to put up with this crap. Its mostly the long timers who care about how this place looks but we are becoming a rare breed in Salem Woods as all the clean, decent folks move out because of what this development is coming to with the riffraff moving in.

We don't live on a busy street (not many houses here) but some scumbag must have been walking by and thought that my driveway would make a good waste receptable for their empty pop bottle. Adults and kids are guilty of this. Salem Woods residents who care need to start paying attention; there is still a law against littering and maybe if these people are fined, word would get around and we can have our community back. PIGS NOT ALLOWED.
This development is nothing like it was just a few years ago. People (and I use the term loosely) throw garbage on the grass and sidewalks. And what is with garbage containers in front of the house by garage doors and near front doors rather than in the garage or at the back or side of the house? Isn't there a bylaw that prohibits that?

I would like to see a copy of the NCC bylaws sent to every new resident or to any house where it is obvious that the rules are not being followed.

By SWrock (or used to)
which is a great idea! but it really doesn't come down to the rules. It comes down to being decent people. Its that simple, but for some it is hard to do or understand. Why would someone think it is all right to leave a car jacked up for an undisclosed time when you have many little kids playing on the street. It amazes me that when this person comes out of his house every morning, that it doesn't strike him that "Hey that doesn't look very safe" or " man my house looks like trash." What is the S.W.S.C responsibility in all of this? Does our $75 buy us any rights, and what are they?
