Operation Brightside Visiting our Neighborhood

Wanted to give you all an update on what is happening in our neighborhood. I have submitted an application for Operation Brightside to come out and make our neighborhood look nicer for our morning and evening walks. Our Alderman, Mr. Peden is assisting us with organizing this project between our neighborhood and Brightside.

We have planned to add two picnic tables at the north end of the ditch. Also, we have requested roses to be added on the south end of the ditch.

One of neighbors, Mr.and Mrs. Phelps, has concented to donate rose bushes and mulch to this project as well. If you are out and see them, please thank them for their generosity.

I will keep you informed of any additional updates as they are provided to me.
Please feel free to add any posts to this website to reflect any ideas you may have on how to make this a nicer neighborhood.
