The meeting was called to order at 6:45p.m. by Peggy
Besch, President of BFNA. 5 board members were present: Bob Husbands and George
Olliff were unable to attend. Minutes of the August board meeting were read by

Old Business: Neighborhood Grant Application –
it?’s in the city?’s hand. The
application was turned in on August 24.
We may need to send a couple of people to the October City council
meeting.
New Business: Lee Smith will be at the next General
Meeting to give an update on the traffic issues for our neighborhood. Michelle?’s replacement may be coming
also.
District 2 City Council Candidate Paul Young will
present his campaign.
Peggy asked if we thought there would be any interest
in having a Christmas party this year?
She also wanted our input regarding the change of
meeting times and the frequency of meetings?
Ronda noted that according to the Association By-laws
we are supposed to have our financial books audited by a committee of
Association members who are not members of the Board. We will need to do this as soon as possible.
Peggy and Ronda asked for suggestions of names to
contact regarding willingness to hold office. A few names were discussed. Ronda will contact several members by
phone before the meeting to see if she can find volunteers.
With no further business, Bob made a motion to adjourn
the meeting and Joe seconded it.
Respectfully submitted,
Bob Yoder, Secretary
