Does anyone know when the next city wide yard sale will be?  I seem to remember the Fall sale is sometime in September or maybe early October but wasn't sure.  I would love to get a head start on yard sale prep!

I do know this, there will not be a fall junk pickup this year...The city cut back, and now there is only 1 pickup, in the spring (April i believe it was). You can call Industrial Disposal if you have items to get rid of.

As far as the yard sale, we only had 1 last year, i'd be shocked if we have another one in the fall..but things can change. With the economy the way it is, it would probably have over 100 people selling.

The City Council and On the Move REALTORS (the yard sale sponsor) decided in 2007 to scale back to a yard sale in the spring only, due to declining participation. As a result, we had a record number of homes sign up this past April. As of this moment, no fall yard sale is planned.

 We are disappointed that we won't have a city-wide yard sale and hope there will be a place in this website to advertise things for sale - especially considering the economy.

We have the following items for sale, so please email us if you might be interested.  We have photos of most of these and can email them.  Most of this was recently moved to storage, but they are in very good condition and we want to move them soon.  Prices are negotiable, and if there is no amount listed on an item let us know what you would offer:

• couch - "sleeper-sofa" - deep couch with pillows used as the back.  Couch is in great condition and oak in color, over 80inches long and opens as a full-size bed - $300
• coffee table and two end tables - brown wood with glass tops - $100 for the set
• dining room table and 6 chairs
• Kitchen table and chairs - $140
• desk with 2 drawers that can be used as a sofa table - beautiful finish - real wood - dark cherry/originally purchased from decorators at a Homearama - $200
• kitchen items, glassware, flatware, etc
• Boxes -medium and wardrobe boxes
