Traffic on Westport Road is getting worse. It is really hard to get out in the morning. The traffic guard they now have at Walden also causes traffic to back up. It is very difficult to turn left off Walser onto Westport, and I can only imagine it will get worse, especially when there are expressway off-ramps.

Are there any plans to install any traffic lights at any of the Woodlawn Park streets going out onto Westport Road?

Nope, not according to the state.

As of right now know one really knows where the  traffic lights will be when the widening of I-264 is completed at Westport Road.  According to the State the interchange will be similar to the Bardstown Road interchange, and I can almost guarantee there will be a traffic light on either side of the expressway to allow traffic onto and off of the expressway.  I do agree that there will probably be a necessity for a traffic light somewhere between Hubbards Lane and I-264 once the widening of Westport Road is completed.

This is a concern that I am sure your city council will have to look at down the road.
