INDUSTRIAL DISPOSAL CO. TRASH & RECYCLING GUIDELINES
The following are general guidelines for each service. Any questions or
problems call ID CUSTOMER SERVICE @ 638.9000
HOLIDAYS: ID observes New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day. All services will be the day following the observed holiday..ie. holiday on Monday service on Tuesday.
ALL services are pushed back one day.
TRASH: (1) to (2) 90 gallon standard ID carts, no non-standard trash cans or 50 gallon drums. Place cart on curb 3' from car or mailbox with wheels towards house. Cardboard boxes must be broken down flat. Bag all trash in cans. Place additional plastic bags next to or on top of cart. 50lbs max for each container. Should you need a 2nd cart please call 638.9000 for delivery.
The following items are NOT ACCEPTABLE: Dirt, concrete, drywall, studs, fencing, landscape timbers, construction materials, large doors, windows, sinks, cabinets. NO FLUIDS OF ANY KIND, paint, thinners, pesticides, oils. NO TIRES. BioMedical hazards - needles, oxygen tanks, chemo items. No propane tanks, gas cans/tanks, swing sets, patio doors.
BULKY JUNK ITEMS: We offer special pickup arrangements for large items such as washers, couches, mattresses. Your city contract allows 1 large item per week to be picked up. Please call ID to notify of the large item. NOTE: refrigerators and air conditioners must have freon removed by a certified tech.and be tagged. Construction/demolition material is NOT included. There will be 1 yearly "junk day" pick up. Scheduled for April.
YARD WASTE -All twigs, branches, shrubs can be no more than 6 in. diameter and should be tied (do not set out loose items) in no longer than 3-4 ft. long bundles, all bags, bundles, containers should not weigh more than 30 pounds each. Cut grass will rot and moisture/rain adds weight so make sure bags for grass are adequate strength. No loose dirt or sod. No tree stumps. No fencing, landscape timbers or decking.
RECYCLING- no liquids, propane or gas tanks. #1 thru #7 plastics, milk jugs, food and drink bottles; aluminum or tin cans; unbroken clear or brown glass, no light bulbs or glass panes or drink glasses; newsprint; no fiberboard. Phonebooks with covers torn off are ok. No oily food plastics (ie. TV dinners) with oils or grease.
