Okay, so this is getting really old really fast.   It seems that we are having "10 year" rain events ever 3-6 months.  As I sit and watch Woodlawn park go under water i can't help but wonder how much worse this is going to get before the somebody actually does something about it.

The flooding seems to me worse since the project has begun.  Wingate is under about 3 feet of water at the Walser interchange.

I wonder why the westport ditch has not yet been cleared out?   What are they wating on?   I thought we were going to be able to "move" more water downstream.  The only water i see moving is back up into the neighborhood.

Its getting very old very fast.   City council members/ mayor can you guys / gals get some action out of MSD or the state before we are all swimming?

I will bring this up at our Council Meeting on Monday, 09/21/09.  Our meetings start at 07:30pm, and it would be great if you could attend and voice your opinion on this matter.

I understand that the ditch will be clear out  soon after the traffic is shifted to the new pavement.  They need room to get the equipment in to scoop the ditch out to the bottom without stopping traffic.  Everything goes and I bet the water will flow then. MSD has nothing to do with this. KY Natural Resources in in control.  KY Dept of Transportation just recently got official permission to not clean but to clear the creek after months of discussion according to Ken Fleming.

My basement has flooded again with these rains. It did it a couple of weeks ago, and it's doing it again today. This hasn't happened to me for 5 years, and now it's done it twice in a 3-week period of time. I live on the short section of Kinloch Road. Is this all because of the construction? It is definitely coming from the ground up.
