To the person/persons operating the blue/white dirt bike on Green Meadow Circle:

1.  You are not obeying the posted speed limit.

2.  You are not observing traffic laws.

3.  You are not in accordance to KRS 186 and KRS 189 which states:

"Motor bikes, mini bikes, or any other small vehicles may not be operated upon the street or highway without first meeting the requirements for a motor vehicle such as a registration plate; and the operator must have a license to operate the vehicle.  The only place a driver may legally ride or operate this type of vehicle without an operator's license and other safety equipment is on private property."

Your bike does not seem to have a license plate, nor is Green Meadow Circle (or any other street in WP private property).

The statutes further state:

"Equipment Requirements:

Rearview mirror, one headlight high and low beam, taillight, horn, muffler, tailpipe, brakelight, front and rear brakes, proof of liability insurance, good tires, and registration.  Turn signals are now required if they were part of the factory equipment for that model."

In other words, if you cannot supply all of the above...stay off the roads.

There are children playing and people walking.  The next time you are seen, the police will be called.

Update:

At approx. 8:00 this evening the teenage boy was again riding the dirt bike around Green Meadow Circle at excessive speed.  At this time, a young child (6 or so) encountered this while riding his bike.  He seemed completely oblivious to the child's safety and had no regard to his presence.

It is simply a matter of time before a tragedy occurs.

Does anyone know where this boy lives?
