What we seek to achieve…

We fulfill our promise to the citizens of Brownsboro Farm in the following ways:

We build on our legacy as CARING and responsible public servants through our conduct and the decisions we make in serving our community.

We are OPEN with our meetings, our minds, and to new ideas brought to us for consideration.

We are HONEST with our responses to each other and the residents regarding what we can realistically accomplish and when, being TRUTHFUL even when it would be easier not to, leading by INTEGRITY and RESPECT.

We maintain a CLEAR VISION of our communities immediate and future needs through frequent and clear communications with our citizens.

We are COMMITTED to representing those who have elected us by seeking input from the residents of Brownsboro Farm on all issues that will affect them.

We ENCOURAGE and EMPOWER the citizens of Brownsboro Farm to contribute their time, energy and expertise in helping make our city a better place to live.

We sustain a balanced budget by making financially WISE decisions with city money.

We seek to make decisions that support a UNITED city.

Commissioner Meeting Ground Rules

·Meeting will start promptly at 7:30 p.m.

·The Facilitator runs the meeting (Mayor or designated Commissioner)

·Stick to the Agenda (adjust as required)

·New Business issues (including building permits) must be offered to the Commissioners at least two weeks prior to meeting. No new business issues will be entertained unless they are “Emergency in Nature” (Judgment call buy the Facilitator)

·Hold all public comments until City Officials have had time to process information or you are called on by the facilitator

·Only one speaker at a time (be brief and to the point!)

·No side conversations

·Show respect for one another by giving your undivided attention to the speaker that has the floor

·Lengthy conversations will be tabled for further discussion outside of the commissioners meeting

·Breaks will be called by Facilitator (If required)

These ground rules are subject to change as necessary
