I would like to start a prayer chain for our soldiers. I know that many of us are directly affected by the war on terror. It is scary having someone we love in harms way! If you would, please respond to this with the name of someone you love that represents our country so we can honor them with our prayers for safety and include them in our newsletter also!

Correction - the war in iraq


The war is in Iraq and has some of our people in Afghanistan.

But -- there is no war on terror. That was a phrase made up in the war architects' PR department.

As a Vietnam vet I always pray for our soldiers, especially our men and women who are fighting in Iraq and should be here at home protecting us.

God speed to them and again I pray that the hearts of our leaders will open to recognize their folly and bring these brave people home.
