BCA General Meeting
October 11, 2007

Board members - Linda Rhoads, Jim Andrews, Cathy Lamb-Mullin, Gilly Burlingham, Adam Zucker, Melinda Tariasescu, Susan Lindsay

Meeting called to order

Introduction of board members

Police report
· General crime stats, including commercial burglaries, car prowls & bike thefts
· Community Policing Forum; 6 – 7:30 pm the last Wednesday of every month (association looking for a volunteer to represent BCA)

Newsletter - Fall Edition printed; need volunteers for distribution


Big Pipe Grant Update – Five projects within Buckman still in running

Shelter @ St. Francis / All Women’s Interfaith Center –Desiree Helger (503) 972-1709, will return to general meeting in December to make presentation, in mean time contact her directly with questions

Roger Burt – Introduction of new Buckman liaison for meetings with St. Francis & Portland Police

Historic Committee
Majority of meeting dedicated to presentation from historic committee regarding historic designation process.
